A5 Retro Art THALO Gothic Style Notebook with 40g Wood Pulp Paper

This A5 format notebook combines specific artistic design themes with practical paper specifications for creative use. Measuring 16.5 by 11.6 centimetres, it provides a compact yet functional surface for journal entries, sketches, or note-taking. The notebook's identity is built around its distinct cover art options—Pan Shen's Maze, Forest, and Red Fruit Temptation—which cater to a retro, gothic, and nature-inspired aesthetic. With paper made from original wood pulp and weighing 40g, it offers a foundation for various writing instruments, though specialist uses like heavy wet media are not supported by the available specifications.

Features and Construction

The notebook's construction centres on its stated materials and precise dimensions, providing clear parameters for its use. The combination of a defined paper type and size allows you to assess its suitability for your specific needs before purchase.

Material and Build

The internal pages are made from original wood pulp paper with a stated weight of 40 grams. This paper weight typically corresponds to a standard writing or printing paper, suitable for everyday pens and pencils. The cover materials are not detailed, so its durability against wear is not specified. The binding method is also not described, which affects how the notebook lies open and handles over time.

Size and Practical Fit

The notebook has an A5 size, with specific dimensions of 16.5 centimetres in height and 11.6 centimetres in width. This makes it larger than an A6 but more portable than an A4, fitting easily into many bags and satchels. The exact page count is listed as 'other', meaning a specific number is not provided, so capacity for long-term projects should be considered open-ended.

Uses and Placement

With its themed art covers and standard paper, this notebook serves several potential roles depending on the user's interests. Its application ranges from personal creative projects to functional daily recording.

Event or Professional Use

The distinctive gothic and retro art covers could make this notebook suitable for niche events, artistic workshops, or as a thematic prop. Its A5 size is practical for carrying to meetings or classes where its design might reflect personal or project style. The 40g paper supports note-taking during lectures, client meetings, or brainstorming sessions with standard pens.

Everyday Home Use

At home, this notebook can serve as a personal journal, dream diary, or idea catcher where the cover art provides daily inspiration. The Forest or Red Fruit Temptation designs might align with natural decor themes, while Pan Shen's Maze suits a more intricate, puzzle-like aesthetic. It functions as a dedicated space for lists, recipes, or tracking habits.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this product lies in the alignment between its concrete specifications and the user's specific needs for a themed notebook. Its benefits are tied directly to its stated features rather than invented performance claims.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

As a paper notebook, its core function is single-use for writing or drawing, after which it becomes a completed record. Maintenance involves basic storage—keeping it dry and flat—to preserve the pages and cover. The paper's 40g weight suggests it is not designed for heavy alteration or erasing, so its longevity pertains more to archival keeping than physical ruggedness.

Why Choose This Product

Choose this notebook if you require an A5 format with precisely 16.5 x 11.6 cm dimensions and a preference for the stated gothic, retro, or nature-inspired cover art. The 40g original wood pulp paper is a defined feature for those who prioritise knowing the paper type. It suits users seeking a themed notebook for specific creative projects or as a gift matching a particular aesthetic, where the design is as important as the functionality.
